Scrapfly vs MiyaIP

Assess a Scrapfly alternative around managed execution, session dependencies, response parsing and the work required to move a production job.

When to use each service

MIYAIP

When MiyaIP may fit

Consider MiyaIP for focused website tasks when HTML or Markdown is sufficient and you can adapt the job to task status and result retrieval.

Scrapfly

Keep your current workflow

Keep Scrapfly if your application relies on its session behavior, response metadata or anti-bot configuration until each dependency has a verified replacement.

Managed executionConfirmed

Submit a task, track its status, then inspect its result and call log.

[M]
Confirmed

Managed scrape API with request configuration and response metadata.

[2] ↗
JavaScript renderingTo confirm

Website modes exist; an equivalent render_js switch and browser actions are not verified.

[M]
Conditional

render_js enables rendering; proxy and protection choices can change cost.

[2] ↗
Sessions & cookiesTo confirm

Cookie persistence and session IDs must be checked in the selected interface schema.

[M]
To confirm

Exact session persistence and portability need a dedicated compatibility check.

[2] ↗
Response formatConditional

Website HTML / Markdown; other results depend on the selected interface and task envelope.

[M]
Conditional

JSON envelope by default; inspect result.content and large-object handling.

[2] ↗
ConcurrencyConfirmed

Published packages list 2, 5 or 10 simultaneous tasks.

[M]
Confirmed

Indexed plans list 5 / 20 / 50 concurrent requests.

Billing & retriesConditional

Interface and parameter based credits. Inspect actual cost and refund records; retry charging is not verified.

[M]
Conditional

Features and bandwidth affect credits. Inspect cost metadata for each request.

Estimate request costs

Start with 1,000 requests. Change the package and credit rate to reflect your own workload.

Write down the shared requirements

Both rates default to 1 credit per request. Enter the actual rates from your interface or bill. These estimates assume equivalent requirements; they are not test results.

Credit use = requests × credits per request. Allocated cost = credit use ÷ package credits × package price. Tax, additional attempts, refunds, expiry and engineering time are excluded. No automatic top-ups or repeat purchases are assumed.

How to test your target pages

Method only — no head-to-head requests have been run for this page. All measurements below await validation.

  1. 01

Freeze the URL set and required fields. Include one static page and one JavaScript-dependent page from your actual workload.

  2. 02

Run both services in the same time window with matching region, rendering, output, concurrency and retry limits. Mark unsupported or unverified requirements before running.

  3. 03

Count accepted content, not just HTTP 200 responses. Check required fields, freshness, empty results and error pages with the same rules.

  4. 04

Record every attempt, elapsed time, credits and refunds. Divide net allocated cost by accepted results only when that count is greater than zero; track subscription outlay separately.

Based on the current console flow, not live-tested. Bash / cURL templates require your own credentials and schema values. Nothing is executed on this page.

MiyaIP TASK WORKFLOW
# 1. Read the available interfaces and their ParamSchema.
curl --fail-with-body "https://miyaip.com/api/CrawlerInterface/List" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $MIYA_CONSOLE_TOKEN"

# 2. Save request.json with the selected InterfaceKey and valid Params.
# The JSON below is a template; replace both placeholders before sending.

# 3. Copy the returned task ID. Query until a terminal status.

What changes in your integration

  • Inventory proxy, rendering, session and extraction settings first. Move only fields supported by the selected MiyaIP interface.
  • Replace result.content access with MiyaIP task-result parsing. JSON envelopes and large-object links are not interchangeable.
  • Budget engineering time for polling, timeout handling, parser changes and session tests separately from API credits.

Before you send the request

  • Use the same TARGET_URL in the old request and the website interface parameters. API key variables belong to the competitor; MIYA_CONSOLE_TOKEN is a console login token, not a permanent public API key.
  • Inspect InterfaceKey and ParamSchema in the console. Create request.json with those exact fields. Fill in the parameters required by that interface.
  • Check HTTP status and the business response code. Read taskId from the returned body. Query running tasks with a bounded polling interval and an overall timeout; do not repeatedly resubmit them.
  • Stop on success, failed or timeout. Parse result only after success, validate the expected content, and inspect costCredits and refund logs. Handle expired authentication and rate limits before retrying.

Migration questions

Is MiyaIP cheaper than Scrapfly?

It depends on the package you must buy, credits per request and usable output. Compare the purchase and allocated costs separately. Unknown rendering or target behavior prevents a reliable savings claim.

Can I replace the endpoint without changing my code?

No. The console flow submits an asynchronous task. Authentication, parameters, status handling and response parsing need adaptation; sessions and browser options require a compatibility check.

Have these services been benchmarked against each other?

No. This page provides a reproducible validation method and unfilled result fields. No success-rate or speed advantage is claimed.
